The patient has a very positive outlook on life but was increasingly affected by the aging changes in her face. She was bothered by looking particularly swollen on certain days and feeling like she resembled a “prize fighter.” It was important to her that after a facelift, she looked “fresher, not different.”
The surgical plan was developed together with the patient after carefully reviewing her youth photos. An eyelid lift, an extended lower eyelid lift, and fat transfer to the cheekbones and lower eyelid-cheek transition were performed. The face was tightened using an extended Deep Plane Facelift. The neck was contoured and tightened with an open neck lift.
